Welcome to the original Cabo Blanco, Hemingway's own sport fishing paradise located in the northern coast of Peru.
Internationally known as the Marlin's Boulevard, legendary Cabo Blanco waters are the home not only of the monstrous Black Marlin, but also a great variety of other game fishes, including the: Stripe Marlin, Swordfish, Tuna (Big Eye and Yellow Fin), Sail Fish, Wahoo, Amberjack, Snook, Roosterfish and Mako Shark. Also there are Bonito, Dolphin (also called Mahi Mahi or Dorado) and Barracuda. In the coastal trolling you will find Grouper, Conger and Sea Bass. For all of the species indicated above, the idle time for them is from December through May, additional to the high season.
The Stripe Marlin is found when the equator current appears in the months of June to July. Also the Black Marlin with the Tuna will route through the area of Cabo Blanco, between August and October.
