CERROS DE AMOTAPE NATIONAL PARK

Location.- The Parque is located among Piura's departments and Tumbes, to a minimal height of 200 msnm and maxim of 1,613 msnm, it presents a diversity of flora and fauna distributed in 4 zones of life, according to the map elaborated by the ONERN:

Flora.- is the only natural area in the country that protects the dry forest equatorial with her ecosystems and biodiversity. Another representative sort are: El Venado Gris and El Venado Rojo, foxes, squirrels, woodpeckers, Zoñas de Montaña, Loro Cabeza Roja y Frente Roja, Turquilón or Putilla, Pericos Sordos, Cotorras and Macareños, Perdices and Pacharacas, Gavilanes, Falcons and a diversity of Paseriformes.
